The terms, in plain language.

1. Who we are

machtask is operated by A.C.N. 693 677 191 PTY. LTD, an Australian proprietary company ("machtask", "we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@machtask.com.

These are plain-language terms for the pre-launch pilot programme. They will be replaced by fuller terms when paid plans launch; we will give you notice before that happens.

2. The service, and the pilot programme

machtask provides each customer a hosted workspace — your own subdomain and your own database — for running guided, trackable requests. The service is pre-launch: every workspace starts as a free 3-month pilot, access is granted by request, and features may change as we improve it. While we remain pre-launch, pilots are extended at no charge — nothing is ever charged without notice.

3. Your account and workspace

You sign in with your email address; keep access to that mailbox secure, because it is how you access machtask. One workspace per account during the pilot programme. You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for what they do in it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use machtask to:

• break the law, or store or distribute unlawful content;
• send spam or abuse the email features;
• attempt to access other customers' workspaces or our infrastructure;
• resell the service without our written agreement.

5. Your data

The content in your workspace is yours. We host it, back it up daily, and process it only to provide the service — see the privacy policy for detail. You can request an export of your workspace data at any time by emailing us.

6. Availability and support

During the pilot programme the service is provided as-is, with best-effort availability and support and no service-level commitment. We take backups seriously and run them daily, but you should not treat a pre-launch service as your only copy of anything irreplaceable.

7. Fees

The pilot is free — no card, and no automatic conversion into a paid plan. Published prices on our site are launch pricing and take effect only when paid plans launch, with notice to pilot customers before any charge applies.

8. Ending things

You can stop using machtask and ask us to delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close workspaces that breach these terms, and may retire the pilot programme with reasonable notice — in either case we will give you a window to export your data.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, the pre-launch service is provided without warranties, and our total liability in connection with it is limited to AUD $100 (reflecting that the pilot is free).

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to the email on your account. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and disputes belong to the Australian courts.
